Council Member Nancy Carroll and her husband Jack moved to Beaumont from Orange County in 2006. "Beaumont is the perfect name for our beautiful community. Both Jack and I were drawn to the warm neighborhood feel of a town that is so proud of its schools, family parks and the care for each other that is found here".
First elected as City Treasurer in 2014, Nancy was elected to Council in 2016. "A sound financial base is critical to protecting and serving our community. That has always been at the forefront for me. We need to deliver the best that we can to our community to protect and enhance the quality of life of our residents. Fiscal stability is at the core of being able to do that well."
Nancy has worked at technology companies throughout her career and has a BS CIS from Bentley University, Waltham MA. Starting as a software engineer, she has had varied responsibilities from oversight of mission critical networks to Vice President of Marketing and Sales. She and her husband Jack own a business consulting company working with technology companies.
She is former Chair of the Finance and Audit committee, Vice Chair of Vets Expo, Board member of Riverside Transit Agency, RTA Policy and Administration Chair and serves on the California League of Cities Revenue and Taxation policy committee.
