The Beaumont City Council is pleased to announce the selection of its Youth Council (YC) for the 2023-24 term year.
The YC is a group of engaged and highly motivated high school students who will identify youth-related problems and participate in volunteer activities throughout the community. After school hours, the YC will create goals and strategies, meet with the Mayor and designated city staff, attend educational opportunities, and more. The YC will meet the second Tuesday of every month at 4:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Civic Center located at 550 E. 6th Street. YC meeting agendas will be posted 72 hours in advance of their public meeting.
